It happened that Tishwira, the sky mother, became lonely and crying out, she split the sky in two.  Then she split herself and the great beast of the heavens, Wirata, split in two and life began to pour forth from their spirits, forming the stars, the moon and the sun, as well as the first plant and the first earth being Tsarawik, the serpent.
