Shrine to the Souksouh
Native American Shaman Painting

By David Chethlahe Paladin

Considered to be among the most powerful spirits that dwell in the mythic
"world without light" the Souksouh are portrayed on cave walls from Yuma,
Arizona to the coast of California.  The star-like designs are spirit homes.
The spotted human-like figures are "Mushuk," or spirits that give birth to
our dreams.
